Golden Topper Unites with the Philippines to Fight COVID-19
As COVID-19 continues to spread across the globe, the Philippines, on March 12, 2020, officially announced that its capital, Metro Manila will be placed under community quarantine. This was the government's first shot to prevent the disease-causing virus from spreading further.
Boxes of test kits, masks and other PPE arrived on March 24 and 25.
The virus has no borders but neither does charity. As part of Golden Topper's support in the fight against COVID-19, the company donated one batch of protective gear for healthcare frontliners. This includes 1.1 million pieces of surgical masks, 5,000 pieces of N95 masks, 10,000 pieces of colloidal gold rapid test kits, 2,000 pieces of protective clothing, 1,000 pairs of eye shields, 10,000 pairs of shoe covers and 1,000 pairs of surgical gloves. One hundred thousand medical masks arrived in the Philippines on March 24. The rest of the batch was sent on March 25. Golden Topper will continue to support the Philippines to battle the outbreak.
These donations will soon make their way to the brave frontliners fighting the dreaded disease.
Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Philippines was named one of the best investment countries in Southeast Asia.
